Problem(Abstract)
A user is trying to create a Sybase service on Microsoft Windows® 2003 Server, but no services folder exists in Sybase Central. The user installed the Sybase SQL Anywhere 8.02 software that is bundled with IBM® Rational® TestManager v. 2003.06.13 release, the first release of TestManager that supports using Sybase SQL Anywhere on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server.

A patch is available from the Sybase website.
1.Go to
http://www.sybase.com/download
2.Click on the 'EBFs/Maintenance' link
3.Register for a free account and then sign in
4.Click on the 'SQL Anywhere Studio' link
5.In the 'Platforms' drop down (or combobox), select 'In all months' and click on 'Go'
6.Form the section labeled 'Platform: Windows x86', download and install the following: 'SQL Anywhere Studio - Maintenance Release(English), Upgrade of 8.0.x to 8.0.3 (Software only)', or
Once this is installed, the Services folder should now appear in Sybase Central.
